At Tiptoes and Tappers our classes start with pre syllabus tap for 3-year olds. This is a fun introduction to tap, teaching the basics including how to count music and hold a beat. When children gain confidence they progress to pre-primary tap. This grade is generally aimed at children of a school age teaching more structured exercises. Pre-primary is the first graded exam level.
From pre-primary pupils will progress to primary and instruction is available to support a pupil achieving a professional diploma.
The syllabus begins with basic British tap and progresses with instruction in American and Show tap incorporating complex movements developing pupils to a very high standard.
When children turn 13, and achieve Grade 3, their exam points can be added to their school portfolio.
